As Australians working on a sustainable property development project on private land within the Kyuquot Checleseht First Nations' territory, we engaged and consulted with the KCFN to honour their land rights and incorporate their input.
Through our partnership, KCFN saw the potential to apply our world leading innovative approach to infrastructure could not only benefit their entire community, but our approach could also serve as a model for all First Nations communities, should they consent.
Encouraged by their insight, their gracious invitation onto their lands, to work with their community, signified a pivotal moment, one that laid the very foundations of ERIF.

Members of KCFN leadership and youth representatives joined the ERIF team on a global expedition, traversing six countries in just ten days to witness the world-class expertise and technologies of ERIF's global partners. This journey forged a lasting and a shared commitment to bring these advanced solutions to Canada's First Nations, enhancing reconciliation and fostering self-determination.
